I used to smash pennies by leaving them on the tracks there at the Frankford Junction just before the curve there as a kid. The station is gone now, in the late seventies. The diesel engines would roll by and then you would go picking them up flat as a crepe, they were still very hot to the touch. Kids do dumb things I guess. Dangerous things. lol
